While exploring the town, he lands themselves in prison after coming to the defense of two sisters who were harassed by the local Dragoons. Fortunately, his reputation saves them from incarceration as the king requests that they investigate strange earthquakes that have been happening throughout the region.

They soon discover that ancient dragons are awakening from their slumber and must figure out what to do next. A mysterious and technologically advanced organization called the Peace Sentinels threatens the stability of the region.

Developed as a sequel to the original, LBP PSP features the same puzzle-and-platform based gameplay with a lot of user generated content. Unlike the original title, LBP for the PSP does not feature a multiplayer mode but makes up for it with an extensive single-player story mode that centers around the adventures of Sackboy as he decides to take a holiday walkabout around the globe, visiting all sorts of strange and interesting places.

The title was designed to be a unique adaptation of the traditional, lengthy JRPG formula by breaking it down into short 30 second intervals. Half-Minute Hero offers six different game modes, three of which can only be unlocked after you complete the first three. In the regular mode called Hero 30 Mode, the player is tasked with defeating an enemy boss within 30 seconds.

The hero follows a track that allows him or her to gain experience points and items through battles against enemies and enter towns where time is paused to find allies, talk to residents and rest up. The boss can be slain when the hero is sufficiently powerful. Other modes include Evil Lord 30 Mode, where the player controls an evil lord to summon monsters to do his or her bidding to accomplish various tasks within the overworld.

Released just days ago, MHP3 is already being regarded as one of the best games on the platform in Japan. Not due in the US and Europe for at least a few months, MHP3 appears to be everything fans were expecting, and then some.

In Mimana, players will find all the JRPG traditions they know and love, including anime-style character designs, random battles, and a hero that owes money to the Mercenary Guild. If you have a long trip ahead of you, this is the kind of game you should have on hand. With a stylized, 2D battle system that has a touch of action mixed in for good measure, Mimana should be an entertaining romp.

Although we don't know much about how the story will fare, the gameplay looks solid and we're eager to see more. You can create your own drivers, karts and even tracks in this one before logging online and sharing them with the world — either by uploading them for people to see or racing your opponents' wheels off.

The things you can create are wholly unique and the options for sharing and downloading are really impressive. Add in that driving actually feel great, and you've got a racer you need to watch. What It Is: Set between Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within, this game casts you as the prince and challenges you to platform, rewind time, and fight off hordes of mystical dudes in order to stop the sand army tearing your world apart.

Why It's Hot: This is a title harkening back to Sands of Time, and that was one of the coolest games around. The original voice of the Prince is back, you can now harness the power of the elements for special attack, and the platforming is even more mind-bending now that you can freeze water and use it to traverse the environment. Players control the hero Aragorn as they play through familiar events from the movies, only now with small twists since they're being embellished by a silly old hobbit.

Why It's Hot: Sure, it's obviously geared towards kids, but the little we've seen so far seemed pretty entertaining. The Wii version has two player co-op where the second player controls Gandalf so that should also help when your little brother starts screaming to let him play. Disgaea Infinite. Fat Princess.
