War games nitro september 4 2000

The good guys, minus Goldberg, are ready. Nash is defending and the teams are only a thing for the timed interval two minutes entrances. Sting to start. They fight on the floor next to the ladder needed to climb to the second cage before throwing the ladder inside. So officially, the faces won the coin toss?

Steiner hits Sting in the ribs to take over and brings in a bigger ladder but stops to beat on Sting even more. Steiner heads up to the second cage, leaving Jarrett to take High Times, allowing Kronik to follow Steiner up top. A double gorilla press drops Steiner as the question becomes if Adams or Clark wins the title for themselves since they entered the match as a unit. Russo comes in next but has the Harris Brothers climb the Cell and go inside the second cage after Kronik.

As you might expect, Sting beats Russo down with ease and puts him in the Scorpion of course Russo never taps. Nash goes after everyone and grabs Russo standing with no issues after being in the Scorpion by the throat but Steiner breaks it up. The Harris Brothers and Kronik are brawling in the crowd, apparently with Kronik having been eliminated.

In WarGames. Booker ax kicks Steiner so Russo hits him from behind like a moron, earning himself an ax kick to the helmet. Nash decks Booker and everyone still in the match is in the bottom cage. The heels all beat down Booker and Sting until Goldberg comes out to complete the field.

Jarrett and Steiner take the bullets for Russo, leaving him to hit Goldberg in the back with the ball bat to drop Goldberg. Booker goes up top for the belt Yeah remember that? Somewhere in there Goldberg was handcuffed to the corner. You would think they would have pointed that out earlier.

Sting, Jarrett and Steiner go up to the second cage, leaving Booker to go up and get the belt. Booker starts hitting people with the belt to get down but Sting has been handcuffed to the weapons cage, allowing Steiner to take the belt away from Booker and blast him in the face. Madden admits there are no teams in this mess as the belt falls through the hole. Russo picks it up and taunts Goldberg, allowing the Cat to come in and kick Russo in the head. Nash lays out Cat with a Jackknife but Goldberg breaks the handcuffs and cleans house.

He picks up the belt and goes to leave but Bret Hart appears and slams the door on his face. Russo has the belt free and clear until Nash grabs him by the shirt.

They hug, it was a swerve, and Nash retains. Russo can call it that all he wants but this had as much to do with WarGames as the set of collectable plates that McDonalds put out in to promote Hercules. Think about it: this match was announced last Wednesday, had its main story set up earlier in the night, and the match happened tonight.

Nothing changes in the storylines, Nash is still facing Booker at the pay per view, and it was all a big swerve for a few hours. Overall Rating: D. On a sidenote: where was Mike Awesome? Stevie Ray Stevie says this is for the fans instead of Russo. Kronik Cat says they should be getting together to fight Russo and company. Goldberg Torrie, really not very good on the mic yet, yells about being stuck in Dallas for the night.

At Souled Out , Goldberg faced off with ladder match specialist Scott Hall in a ladder match with the winner prevailing by using the stun gun on their opponent. There was a caveat in Hall's favor as Goldberg sported a knee brace on his left knee as he was attacked in the locker room early on in the show. Goldberg bled profusely and he was favoring his left knee throughout the match.

He did a great job of selling Hall's offense, who was in cruise control for large portions of the bout. Ultimately, Hall retrieved the stun gun and he tried to hit Goldberg with it, but Goldberg kicked him in the face. Goldberg threw the stun gun in the air with Hall failing to catch it, and Goldberg speared him and executed the jackhammer. Hall was flat out, and Goldberg stunned him in the chest for the all-important win. This was a sluggish match with Regal doing everything in his power to make look Goldberg look decent.

Goldberg looked incredibly green, and the match did not click at tall with a lot of poor timing. Nonetheless, Goldberg took Regal down with a spear with the Jackhammer sealing the deal, ensuring that his unbeaten streak continued. Goldberg's World Heavyweight Championship was up for grabs in a triple threat match at Armageddon with both Triple H and Kane hellbent on ending Goldberg's reign as champion. This had the potential to be miles better than it was but the pace was simply slow and methodical.

Triple H and Kane worked as a cohesive unit as expected since they were the heels. The Big Red Machine's chokeslam on Goldberg onto the announce table surprisingly did not break considering Goldberg weighed in at pounds. Triple H ensured that Goldberg went through the announce table after jumping off the barricade.

Nonetheless, all thanks to interference from Evolution, Triple H capped off a successful night for the faction as all four members escaped with silverware.

Triple H entered his day as World Heavyweight Champion in his marquee championship bout with Goldberg at Unforgiven Goldberg's WWE career was on the line as he would have left the company if he failed to take the World Heavyweight Championship away from the Game. Stevie Ray is in the back and yells at Russo.

I came here to wrestle somebody! Jarrett is yelling at Nash about Russo. Ray is usually the commentator on Thunder. No one is really sure why he got such a big push all of a sudden but he did anyway.

He says that the match is with his brother. Wargames Qualifying Match: Stevie Ray vs. Axe Kick hits and Booker gets a Spinarooni. And then the Book End hits to send Booker to the main event. Another two minute match that they call great, despite Stevie hitting a total of a spinebuster. Stevie yells at him for no apparent reason and then hugs him. Just move on to something else please. Naturally they get beaten up. They hits a cool looking Triple Chokeslam and this is domination.

Is this a match? A referee is out there but Adams calls out the Harris Brothers anyway. Wargames Qualifying Match: Ernest Miller vs. Kronik Jarrett gets on commentary too here. And then he tries to steal a rollup on Clark, resulting in an ass kicking. Miller is the commissioner apparently.

Double Chokeslam ends it so Kronik is in Wargames making it Sure why not. Steiner is pissed at Russo now because Kronik is now in Wargames. Goldberg vs. Steiner at Fall Brawl which was a good match. Wargames Qualifying Match: Shane Douglas vs. Goldberg First up though Torrie runs down the crowd.

Here comes Goldberg. Shane, who wanted Goldberg, begs to get out of it now. Pure power from Goldberg to start of course. We hit the floor and Shane dodges a forearm which hits the post instead. Shane works the arm and Goldberg just shoves him off. The Thrillers come out to beat up Goldberg which of course fails also. Shane tries to hit him with a chain.

Spear and Jackhammer end this of course. The longest match so far has been four minutes long and it had the Insane Clown Posse in it. This show needs to end already. Russo throws a fit in the back. Russo and Nash have another moment.

Guns goes swimming in her final test. The Misfits in Action are there too and we get a fight in the pool. Russo noticing a theme here? Big Vito vs. Natural Born Thrillers Vito beat up Russo last week to cause this. The Thrillers say nothing of note and Vito makes gay jokes.

Vito at once. Guess how this goes. Palumbo and Reno hit a 3D and stomping ensues. This goes on way too long and Sanders gets the pin. End this show already. The non-Russo team talks about how awesome they are. People come in at two minute intervals. Jarrett vs. Sting to start us off. Everyone else stays in the back here.

They fight on the floor as everyone knows nothing is going to happen until we get to the full or nearly the full amount of people. Sting dominates and Scott Steiner is 3.

Sting almost gets up the ladder to the second cage but Steiner makes the save. They beat up Sting and nothing happens for two minutes.

Kronik both of them come out as 4. Well of course they do. Steiner gets to the second cage and has bolt cutters up there for some reason. Adams and Clark both follow him up and take him down.
